All divers from “learn to dive” to “competition squad level” are encouraged to enter this competition. Our coaches will assist divers with which event(s) to enter.

Understanding the Level competitions.  Why should my child enter?

Levels 1 - 4 are designed to allow divers to compete basic skills learnt in their lessons

• Divers can test their ability and learned skills in a competition environment on 1 Metre, 3 Metre and/or Platform.
• Each event only requires 3 or 4 skills to be competed.
• The degree of difficulty for each skill in levels 1 - 4 is a set value making it a level playing field for all competitors of any age.
• The “levels” competitions should not be confused with the “grading” level your child is working on.
• This competition experience helps prepare divers for future State qualifying options from Level 5 onwards and ultimately National Championships.

Levels 5 - 10 require the diver to compete a dive list which, coupled with the age of the diver, offers the opportunity of qualifying for National Age, Elite and Open Championships.

Dive Sheets for all events must be submitted online via Dive Recorder. Dive sheets need to be correctly filled out in accordance with the DSA Levels Format (dated July 2013). Please give a copy of your confirmation printout to your coach.

Alterations may be accepted as per FINA rules. 

Late Dive Sheets: the athlete may compete as a guest only and shall be ineligible to place in the competition, nor have their score counted as a National qualifying score.
