Diving SA is offering a variety of training sessions to our Squad divers (Blue, Yellow, Navy, Maroon, and Red) to enhance performance and keep athletes in peak condition while we are unable to access the pool at our SAALC facility. These include:
- dry land sessions focused on strength, technique, and aerial awareness.
- Diving sessions at Gawler Aquatic Centre provide in-water training.
- Bounce trampoline sessions at Bounce Marleston to provide divers with training in a similar, yet different, environment that enhances aerial awareness and coordination.
- Mat Pilates sessions will enhance flexibility, core strength, and injury prevention.
Sessions are available throughout the week—please check the schedule for specific times. These diverse training options are designed to support athletes in becoming well-rounded, both physically and mentally, and to help them reach their diving goals.
Please note: During weeks 6-9, if you have a SAALC membership solely for dive pool access, you won’t need to pay for entry to the dry land facility. You can speak to the staff at SAALC about suspending your membership while the pool is closed. However, if you wish to use other SAALC facilities (such as the gym or leisure pools), you will need to pay for entry.
